I was one of the pledges. Small note that Substack moved me to paying yesterday but it showed up as from medium.com on my credit card which confused me until I saw the email

I actually emailed the pledges on Saturday to give them a heads up, but your email address in the system (carter@cbrooking.com) seemed to be blocked from receiving my message. So apologies on not getting the heads up through to you, and thank you for your support.
I also appreciate the note about Medium. I actually tested the paid subscription myself by paying myself for a subscription to my own newsletter, and it showed up as Medium on my bank statement too, which is super weird. The only thing I can think of is that Substack uses Stripe to process payments, and when I originally established my Stripe account it was to accept payments on Medium (which I was never very active on, but had an account at one point). So somehow it must have all been conflated. I'll have to share that with the Substack team because I expect that is not how they want it to be! I will also ask someone at Stripe if that can be corrected.
